Default Back seat removal

Anything I need to know? I'm going to try to remove it later so I can install my harness rear mounting points. Thanks for your help in advance.

Listen to Dave...

Although he's undoubtedly a redneck, he's absolutely right. DON'T RUN A HARNESS WITHOUT A BAR/CAGE. That is, unless you'd like to discard your head in the long run..

HAHAHAHAHA!!

Oh yea, although these guys are undoubtedly smartasses, they're absolutely right...

As for the back seat, fold both seat backs forward about 6", then reach between the outside of the seat and the side interior panel (at the base of the hinge, easier from the hatch side) and remove the small black plastic clip that goes over the pin/hinge. That will allow you to slide the seat back sideways (toward the clip you just removed) and that will slide the seat off the middle pin/hinge (no clip to remove in the middle). Does that make any sense? Once the seat back is removed, you need to stuff the seatbelt brackets down and remove the obvious screw holding down the back of the seat bottom. There might be one or two more obvious screws, I can't remember, and then the seat bottom "folds" forward and can be lifted off.

I know all this from my roll bar install, heh, heh, for my harness...see the trend? Just being honest.

I appreciate everyones concern for my head ...I still have full use of my factory seat belt and will be using it for daily driving and if I ever find my way onto a road course. I'm only going to use my harness for autocrossing to help keep me planted in my seat, a roll bar is planned for the near future.
