I am almost positive that in the US the only ITR color available was PY. Yet I have seen at least 2 or 3 black ITR's for sale as 01's. Any answers????

Nighthawk black pearl and phoenix yellow were 2001 ITR colors in the US.

How can you be an ITR owner and not know?

97-98 - CW.
00 - PY and FBP
01 - PY and NBP

The Canadians ones didn't have black, they continued with the CW, along with the PY.

 

I have a friend with a black ITR 00, He was told the same thing by the Acura dealer. I looked for an ITR in NC I found 3 all yellow. I started to think it just had to do with manufacturing dates rather than models, when I bought my R it was brand new and almost a year old in April 01. I really didn't know or care too much until I saw one for sale the other day. My brother wants to get a black R, and I was just checking for him.

 

Here in NY I've seen like 4 black type r's not including mine

 

I see maybe one PY ITR on the road a week. I swear, I've never seen a black ITR. I'm sure they're out there - but (because there are lots of black Integras that are not R's) I never notice the black ones. Same thing for the CW ones - I never notice any on the road. I'm sure they're there - but the only ones I notice are the yellow ones.

 

i would safely assume the states are that color in canada the itr's are champ white with red seats

 

I see black ITR's everyday, ofcourse, I own one... hehe. I've notice a couple of black ones here and there. The CW ones are probably the hardest to spot. I've only seen like one or two this past year driving on the streets. The reason being, is because there are so little amount of them left, after theft, or accidents. They also came out in a very limited number.

 

I have like 15 Type R friends. 12 Yellow Rs, 3 black Rs

the only time i see them are at the track , there are only like 2 more in a wide area around me . . . . fucked up **** though , i thought i had th eonly black one around and then i saw one just like mine with the same exact **** and same everything to the t. . . i was sooo pisseed.

 

Still no 'red' ones.... he he he ....Said by someone who has one!!
