Default mixing cams?

Hey what's up board. I have 2k1 gsr and i'm swapping the head to a b185, some suggested to me that i get a jun II exhaust cam and ITR intake cam. Will this do more performance then just having the same cams? I ask this on the integra board, but they said you guys would know more. thanks

that combo has given good numbers to some of the members of this board. But you do know that switching to an b18c5 head requires a new manifold, and new ecu to run the engine correctly. The manifold has to be for an ITR or an b16a manifold (but why would u want to use that, intake runners are smaller in diameter). A skunk 2 manifold for a gsr does not bolt up nor does the stock gsr manifold

Actually, I believe it was the Jun II intake cam and ITR exhaust cam not the other way around.

personally I would try it the other way around, bigger intake cam and smaller exhaust cam ... exhuast is "forced" out because the piston is coming up right before the compression stroke so smaller cam will handle it, but bigger cam will give more intake since it depends highly on the "suction" effect of the pistons going down.
