Default anybody else got handling problems with their 5-lug EF? I can't get enough rotation.....

I'm currently running itr 5-lug all around and 11k F, 16k R springs on my coilovers.

The car still doesn't rotate like I'd prefer. It is definitely more neutral than the 280f/ 250r setup that I previously had. I may have to go with the 16k in the front and 24k in the rear soon in order to be more competitive at autox... although that would be VERY stiff, and my setup is borderline streetable currently.

Is there an inherent defect in the retrofitting of the itr 5-lug onto an EF?

I didn't notice at the time, and didn't take any measurements, but is it possible the itr knuckles in the front are of a different size/ geometry? If so, how may I correct this? My camber is set at -2deg all around..... and I'm using hoosier 225/50/15's.....

Thoughts?

did you ever have a problem with rotation with the 4 lug setup?? i know im running neuspeed race springs which i bet are no more than 500lb/in on the front, and a bit less in the rear, and i have not one problem with rotation when i autocrossed a couple days ago. once i sorted out my tire pressures, it was easy really.

I'm suspecting that the itr front knuckles are a different length - thus giving me less suspension travel... that they are bottoming out and thus inhibiting the rotation that I require. I have thought of going with an adjustable rear swaybar, but first I want to address the suspension geometry issue first. I don't want to take a band-aid approach to this.....

same as the doc is saying. -2 in the back is to much. Also the rear ST bar with stock front would probley help you out a lot. Maybe play with some of the toe settings as well.

I did the same thing outlined on this page:

http://battlecat.8m.com/ITR%20...A.htm

BUT I made the mistake of using the itr front knuckles.

I'm hoping that I can find a set of 90-91 civic ex sedan front knuckles and mod them to correct my problem.....
