Default Clutch squealing/whining

Has anyone had any problems with their clutch specifically when you start from still. Recently my 2001 prelude has been making a squealing or whining sound when I start to come off the clutch and give it fuel. It almost sounds like either something is slipping or something is rubbing. Unfortunately I can't always duplicate the noise so it's hard to figure out exactly what is the cause. Interestingly, my friend's RSX seems to be doing the same thing right now although his isn't as noisy as mine yet. The car has under 50,000 kms on it so it's a little perplexing.

Any ideas?

Do a search under "archives". Most people say you'll need to grease the throw out bearing or something.

Thanks I searched, but still no real conclusive answer. I do agree with the throw out/release bearing probably being the culprit though. Now if only the sound would duplicate when I bring it to the shop.
