2.5 inch piping too big???

Default 2.5 inch piping too big???

should i go with the 2.5 inch piping for my d15b8?? or would that be too big of piping?? i need ur opinions!

thats a little too big, im running like 3 inch on my a6 with a cat and no resonator , it sounds like **** and there is almost no backpressure,i had an a'pexi muffler on and it made it sound like **** so i cut it off so go with 2.25

yeah my 2.5 is a little too large i had to raise up my short shift b/c the counterweight would hit the pipe

depends on your set up. if u go turbo u want 2.5-3 if n/a 2.25

As kind of a stupid geralization, 2.5" pipe is good for around 250hp N/A motors. My d15b8 only has 70hp, so I don't think 2.5" is gonna help anything. I do have a 2.5" on my 94cx with the stock d15b8, and it drives fine, but I only have because I'm planning a type r swap...
