You can run a 50 shot on a stock motor..But by using N2o you're takin a chance no matter what motor it's on...
You should retard the timing 2-3 degrees every 50 shot to prevent detonation..

DO what you want, but I ran 9 bottles through my D15B2 that had 155K miles on it, and the motor never even smoked.... Ran 15.1@89mph on a zex 75shot with a pretty bad clutch ( padding the gas anywhere between 1-3 times per shift ). I even "top-end-ed" the car to 120mph on the 55shot.... Had MPFI, k&n filter, and gutted cat and everything else from the muffler to the throttle body was stock...

I wouldn't use anything but a zex kit on a honda...

On the other hand my freind put a NOS 55shot on his CRX Si and cracked a piston with in the first 3 runs... But, just make sure its installed and tuned right...

Colder plugs, less timing, good fuel pump ( I ran stock one ), and a dab of race gas when using the 75shot wouldn't hurt..

I've put zex kits on 2 different accords too with great results, one is an automatic 4-door, non-vtec with 110K miles and he stomped a mazdaspeed protege and he's also on his 11th bottle !!!

We used to run 60 or 70 all night in a stock d16a6 block. But if you go with bigger jets do direct port, and fuel pump. its much safer on the motor. That way, every one of your 4 friends up there gets the same amount of juice.

Unlike wet or dry where the two front cyl. get more

How about you grow up and then STFU.

A 50 shot would be fine on a a6. Just show some restraint and dont listen to the little voice that says "go faster put the big jets in". That voice is bad and can lead to blown motors.

Ok, as I pretty much told off the last idiot who posted something as misinformed as that in another thread...
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by drlatino999 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Man, you can't go throwing claims around here like that without some type of backing. Prove to us that there is a flaw in the metallurgy...</TD></TR></TABLE>etc. etc. etc.

So how about this, how is using Nitrous for babies? Really, can you explain that to me as I do not see how using the third form of forced induction is for "babies" as you so quaintly phrased. Since when has it been appropriate to diss on everyone using a D-Series motor and tell them to

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by FakeQuote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Get A B-Series motor so you compensate for your lack of tuning knowledge like I did</TD></TR></TABLE>?

Now I am not saying everyone who has a B-Series motor has no knowledge of tuning and the intricate balance of power and realiabilty, actually hell, I would say a good majority 90% of the people know who have them know as much or way more then I do, but I see a lot of relatively new members coming around here and everytime a project comes along that isn't B-Series related they start ripping on it rather than CONSTRUCTIVELY HELPING! So therefor, knock that **** off.

BACK TO THE SUBJECT AT HAND
You will be able to run the 50 shot on the stock internals as long as your tuning is done correctly and you maintain a steady flow of fuel to the cylinders.

Im starting to think that HT should ban all 04 members. Im sure i can name 10 single cams around here that would smoke you and youre b series...without n20. Why dont you go play in traffic somewhere!

A 50 shot will be fine on a stock engine. I know this dude that uses a 100 shot on a stock engine at the track. If its done right then you dont have anything to worry about. Good luck

Please don't ban me, I happen to think I am very constructive around here. Myself, Mr.Speaker, and countless others would be made homeless by such an action
