Default Intake differences

I've been looking to buy a new intake manifold for my 99 civic ex since the IAC valves are different. I was wondering what the difference is between a 96-98 ex intake manifold and a 99-00 ex manifold. This guy said that the 99-00 manifold has a vacuum line the 96-98 doesn't. Is this true and if so, what is it for and do I really need it. I found a intake manifold for from a 97 ex and wanted to get it but I need to make sure it will work perfectly fine before i buy it. Thanks all!!!

The 99-00 have air injection holes above each of the 4 intake runners. The 96-98 do not.

You can use it, just have to plug them up! Not very hard to do, set screw and some RTV, your good to go!
