Default help with swap

I have a 95 LS motor and im gonna put it into a 92 hatch. I need some help on what kind of tranny i need to pick up. I know it needs to be b series cable tranny but does anyone know which ones i can use? Also what problems i might have passing smog with that motor in that car. Thanks.

you should really search..

try to pick up a Hydraulic GSR or B16 transmission.


i suggest you search on the whole smog dealy. its been coverd 1.245 million times on this server. good luck with your swap

hydro b-series will be a direct swap. you will need a cable to hydro conversion if you decide to go with the cable tranny.

as far smog, as long as its a 95+ motor and everything is hooked up, you should be fine.
