Default coilover springs question

I purchased my car a few months ago and the person who sold it to me said it had neuspeed springs on. When I looked at it afterwars, it looked like cut springs to me. Well, I bought some ebay coilover springs and they were pretty cheap. They are called R1's. Afterwards, I was reading up on some info since there were no installation instructions. Also, are these coilover springs even worth it? The front springs have a 450p rating and the rear have a 350p rating. What is this and is it bad? Someone posted that it was bad. Ok, so some info, opinions, and install information would be really appreciated.

Thanks.

Why would you need instructions..? Its simple..
The threaded piece goes around the shockbody..then the spring sits on the locking collars..then you put the top and tighten it down..You dont need a compressor to put the springs on since they're so short..
But I recomend getting aftermarket shocks because the stock shocks will be blown in about a week, if they aren't already and you have a bouncy ride..
But If you dont have any clue at all how to install them then take it to a shop..
And those spring rates arent to stiff at all..
IMO they're pretty soft rates..

Also, there was only one locking collar(I guess that is what it is called). Did I need two? Everytime I looked at a picture it showed 2 so I was just wondering.

You dont need to collars ..But it's wierd that they didnt come with 2..
Most of those ebay coilovers come with 2 collars..

well, that is why I am posting now because I am not sure if I want to put those ebay coilover springs on. I was thinking about selling them and putting on some aftermarket lowering springs or stock uncut springs. When I was looking at the springs, they looked like the stock ones just cut, not neuspeed. I figured since they were cut, I thought that coilover springs may be a little better. Also, the front of my car is like a half foot above the ground. It is really low so I have no clearance. I have to jack up my car to use the floor jack. I wanted to raise it a little bit so I don't have to scrape so much.

theres a multitude of spring kits available from almost stock mild to stiff springrates with .75" to 2.5" drops. do a little reading, take your pick. you wasted your money on the ebay crap.

the ebay "crap" is definatly no ground control or skunk2 but in all honestly, most of them aren't that bad...

i've sold quite a few sets of hyperion (i think that was the brand) coilovers on ebay and locally and they have the same spring rates as the one syou bought.

i've seen people put them on stock shocks... and blow them since most everyone drops their cars more than an inch or two.

i've seen them used on koni yellows... don't ask.... it actually rode suprisingly well.

it all just depends on what you're wanting.... they will lower your car... and they will ride fine on a good set of shocks....
