Real or Fake???- Volk TE37
Help me out. I haven't seen these rims in person because the seller lives really far away. The reason i asked is because some ppl told me that the on real volks; the lug holes doesn't line up with the spokes and the other two doesn't line up with the valve stem....but in the pic the spokes clearly lines up with the lug holes and the valve stems also lines up with the other two lug holes. so is it fake...can someone confirm this?
Thanks

sorry for the huge pic

My first reaction was to say real, but after looking at it closer, i'll have to say fake. One way to know for sure, is to ask the seller to take a pic of the inside of the rim, which will say Rays or Volk, i forget which.
But the two things that i noticed first were
1. the stickers aren't original, b/c the Rays sticker should have an outline around it,like the Volk does. (u can see what im talking about in the pic of the wrecked volk rim below--which is mine btw)
2. the part that i circled in red, that indentation isn't in my TE-37's nor is it in the other Real TE's pictured above...

I think you can pass those off as volks lol. The average person has no ******* clue how to tell. If I saw those in person before I read this thread I would of never knew. But know I know
But yet again the average person has no idea wtf volk is

i believe the real problem in buying a wheel that looks exactly like the real thing is the fact that you're paying big bucks for a fake, when you thought you were really getting real TE-37's.
Thanks for the help guys. I was going to pick them up today but after talking to the guy something sound suspicious. I asked him numerous of times if they real...and everytime he would answered "yes". Good thing I asked you guys. Would have wasted 8 bills for some used replicas. He is trying to selling them on craigslist so watch out...here is the link
