Default Gel Pad Seat

Since I do not have a Busa. I am gonna take on an easy winter project on making my own gel seat. I got the idea from http://motorcyclistonline.com/howto/seatcut. I figured I can cut off enough of the foam seat material to install a custom piece of a memory foam gel pad from http://www.amspecialtiesusa.com/gelpad.htm into it. I know I could buy a Corbin seat or something else but I am gonna be bored this winter! I will post some pics as soon as I get the supplies!

while you are in there replace the stock foam with a "high density" foam. you can get it at any auto upholstery shop and is much more comfortable than the cheap low density stock stuff.

then shave it out to cup your butt, that will get rid of pressure points

Funny dingleberry! We are not all blessed with soft seats like your Can-O-Tuna!

If you ride hard twisties, everyone I know with a gel seat says its kinda akward to slide from side to side. If all you do it cruise and stunt then im sure its fine.

it really itches when it grows back, but its worth it to get rid of those unsightly dingleberries

As long as I keep the stock vinyl seat cover. I don't think I will have problems in the twisties. I never slide on the seat I usually pick my *** up and slide it over!
