Default Remove EGR valve?

Do you think it is a good idea to remove the EGR valve on my 4G OBD-1 lude? Will I have more power or it is not good for power and engine?

If I am not mistaken, you will get a CEL if you remove the EGR. I will be removing mine, but I will be using a P72 with a Hondata reprogram.

I have not removed it, I have just choked it up, so the valve normaly opens and closes, but no exhaust can go trough it back into the intake. So the ECU (OBD1 type) thinks that it works fine. Is there any problem?

If I tried to remove the EGR vacuum line, I got the Check Engine code. Now I don't, but I don't know if it is good for my engine and power or something...

i personally would leave it alone your not gonna gain any noticeable power from it maybe 1 - 3 hp at the very most. my suggestion would be leave it be.
