Has anyone tried to perform this swap yet? The reason I ask is I need a cluster BADLY for real cheap. I found a 91 LS Integra Cluster for $40 and it includes a tach. Will this be possible to fit decently and make work for a while? Any pics or experience let me know what you guys think. Tried searching but no help from that.

 

Besides the obvious wiring & plug differences, as well as sensors read from the car like "low fuel light" and such, the 90-93 Integra cluster uses a speedo cable at the back of it. The 92+ Civics use an electronic VSS that sends an electronic signal to the cluster so no cable is attached or even on the car. If you really want to, yes you can make it work and physically run a cable but that would be utterly pointless.

 

look around more i was able to buy a 97 integra cluster shipped for $40. and it comes with a tach.

all you have to do is re-pin the plugs that connect to the harness, its tedious but not that bad.

yes it is possible to put a 90-93 cluster in the car but the hassel of doing so just isnt worth it.

 

i'm sure you can buy a dx cluster with no tach for $10 on ebay.... i only paid $60 for my LX cluster with a tach
