Default D15B Engine swap wont start...HELP

Hey all.

Just dropped a D15B in my winter beater and the snow is coming so I got to get it running ASAP.

The engine is in, and all the JDM wiring has been done and triple checked. It's all good.

Here's the problem

Turn the key, and all you hear is a click.... That's it. The engine doesn't even try to turn over. I tured on the head lights and tried starting it to see if it was a bad ground, but the lights stay on full.

Anyone know what it is?

I would go with a bad Batt. since you said it clicks.

Try jump starting it.

we used the batt in another car just mins before I put it in mine.

Also, not sure if I said it, but I got the car to bump start.

I'm pretty sure it's not the started. With the key in the ON possition, you do not hear the fuel pump turn on.

Anyone????

Also, could that be caused by a bad alternator?

Check all your grounds. I had this problem and it was my transmission ground. Make sure they are tight, and you might want to remove all of them, lightly sand the contact surfaces, then tighten them back down.

If I short the ING to the starter under the hood with the key in the on poss, it fires up.

But not by turning the key.

Anyone

check your main relay. if the car has been sitting cold for a while the solder on it may have cracked. happend to me once....pocket one from a junkyard & see if it works. very easy to do, so might as well try it.

turns out the clutch sensor wasn't working, so the ECU didn't know the clutch was pushed in when trying to start it,
