Default Volk centercap installation?

I just got my center caps, but I have no idea how to put them in.

Should I use a rubber mallet, a metal hammer? Should I use any type of anything to prevent them from falling out?

sorry for the n00b question, but I really don't wanna mess this up. thanks.

You really have no idea as to what you are talking about. Not a hammer you use to hit nails with, its made of softer metal, so that it does not hurt/damage the metal you are working with/hitting.

You have a brain, try and use it.

Anyone else have an answer worth reading?

maybe you should make your original post most clear since 99% of metal hammers are used to drive nails. you deserve to break a center cap.

Just push them in... if you have a tough time use a rubber mallet with a piece of cloth over the head.

No, you deserve a punch to the face, my dad knew what I was talking about, so did 3 of my friends. Why would anyone in their right mind hit 100+ dollar centercaps into 1000+ dollar wheels with a regular ole everyday rock hard nail hammer?

Next time I guess I'll have to explain it in 100% detail, so I dont have noobs like you wasting my time.

But yes, I used a rubebr mallet and they went in fine.

haha yea i saw that too. he used a lead hammer, since its softer than 24k gold.

is there a special way those centercaps are supposed to go in? why can't you just push it in? if its hard to push in, i think the rubber mallet and towel will probably work.
