Default Installing 2K1 USDM Type-R header->exhaust on 95 GS-R

I'm finally going to put this USDM header, cat, b-pipe and exhaust on my 95 gS-r and am wondering what I need to buy before I try the install. I have guys to help me and the equipment but what gaskets should I buy, what size/kind of bolts will I need and especially what should I buy to plug up the extra O2 sensor hole? Thanks..

why exactly are you converting over. ?/?
just because its type r doesnt mean youll gain power from it . esp the manifold and the exhaust. . . its very similar to your stock set up .
but whatever's clever.
your closer to owning a type r now .

Forget it and save your money for a real header.

i think you can just reuse the old nuts and bolts from your old stock header/exhaust. just use regular hand tools. you'll want a nice floor jack and some jackstands. the ITR header/exhaust flows better than a GSR's and also costs less than most aftermarket pieces.

i think thats a crock , the exhaust maybe possibly flows a little more. but the header i dont beleive, i still have the manifold from my 99 teg gs and my type r and looking at them dont see nay diff . . . . now the jdm one is a whole diff story. that will be the best money you can spend on that thing.
but like i said whatever is clever.just expect to not feel any diff and not really see anything on a dyno . . .

Well I needed to replace my stock exhaust so I went with the Type-R exhaust, I was only going to buy the exhuast but it wasn't much more for the b-pipe,header and cat and I got those so it would fit perfectly. I know I won't gain much power , I was expecting like 3 whp max from it. So what should I use to fill up the extra O2 sensor port? Thanks.

it's his money.. don't gotta knock him for it

FYI, an ITR exhaust flows 30% better than a GSR's and by using the ITR header and cat, he doesn't have to modify the exhaust to make it fit. he'll probably have a better chance of selling it later this way. plus i'm willing to bet the new cat is in better condition than his old one..

and sorry, i don't know the answer to your extra o2 hole question. maybe you could find a small bolt with the same threads and just screw it in?

if you go to an exhaust shop they have like plug things for the hole that just screw in like a bolt. . . i got one on my test pipe , cus they put the 02 bung in the wrong spot, so i plugged it up and now got it in the right spot. . . . universal
