Default crx d16 si swap into a 88 civic HB with a d15 auto matic

I have a 89 CRX HF that i bought from a buddy. He blew the motor then bought a D16 SI motor for it. Well he could never get it started. Well im getting it totally rebuilt to put in my 88 civic HB. It has a automatic D15 dpi motor. I want to swap with the si motor and was wondering if i could keep it automatic for the wife if any 1 has any ideas i would be happy to hear some thoughts on it.

To run a D16A6 Automatic you will need to do a MPFI conversion but inplace of the PM6 ECU you will need the PS9 (Or PM9, Don't remember the exact code of the top of my head), which I came in the 90-91 Civic EX Sedan.

The ECU will not work with your automatic transmission and the harness that was previously on the motor did not have provisions for an automatic transmission either. Another note, the SI engine harness will not connect to your stock chassis harness so the easiest thing to do here is modify your existing one to work. 4 added, a couple switched = not to bad if you ask me.

I found a red civic HB thats the same gen as mine like right down the street from me it has only one owner and it was an older black lady. I dont know if stick or auto, but if your interested i can take pics for ya and get more info. I know that it runs perfect and its going for like $900 or $1000 =. Hit me up if your interested.
