Cat-back exhaust put on now exhaust rubs
I just put a Tsudo cat-back exhaust on my 91 integra LS. It now rubs or hits against the body pan and is really annoying. I was wondering if anybody had any idea or what could be causing this? any help would be greatly apreciated - Connor
You'll have to get back under there and see what you can Mcgiver so it wont hit the body any more. Alot of aftermaket companies have serious fitment issues (bad r&d). Is it hanging from all the hangers properly? If so Welcome to the aftermarket game.
from your name im assuming you have a 91 teg.. i don't know about them, but the 94+ has upper and lower hangers for the muffler.. maybe you can drop it down to the lower ones if they are available. if not.. then it looks like you need some custom bendind of the hangers/pipe to be done.. take it to a muffler shop.
yea i got a tsudo N1 exhaust too and it did rub againts the heat shield on the bottom. what u need to do is bend the heat sheild so that it wont hit the exhaust. also mine hits the rear lower control arm. i wrapped the LCA with a shammy and it stopped the noise. the TSUDO exhaust is good for the price but u need to do some customizing so that it wont rattle under the car
i'm so tired of seeing these threads about exhaust not fitting correctly. why do companies make exhaust for custom fit applications if they don't fit prefect when you install them? you end up spending so much stress/money trying to fab the piping and hangers to make it fit. my exmag rubbed against my shifter.. so i had to drop it down a little and now it looks dumb. oh well... still sucks
