eg climate control install

Default eg climate control install

any of you folks know how to remove the sliding buttons that adjust how much air comes out on the climate control. so i can remove the face plate. any help is appreciated

The sliders are held in by locking tabs. Unless you have a special tool, you pretty much need to bend/pull them back and forth in the direction that they slide to get them loose.

youwill need to get a 90degree pick tool . using the pick toll fell around where the plastic piece goes into the slider button . if you can slide it into the little groove and push inward on each side of it or even on one side . it should pull right off . i had to do it to mine when i put the jdm climate control in my 93 hatch . good luck !

I put mine in 4 days ago. I just put the head of a flat head screwdriver on the bottom of the slide control and twisted it side to side while prying outward. If you break it, don't blame me though!
