don't think i've ever seen a production car get that much air without flipping over. video is from road atlanta at this years ARRC race. and competition will only get tougher, and i doubt the fender banging will stop any time soon with an "exhibition race," at next years runoffs, national status in 06, and open tires (for us in MiDiv anyway) in 05.

That was pretty bad. I was talkign to Tom after the race and he didnt even mention it was that bad.
What were the final results in the race. Did anybody else get dq'ed besides stretch?

tnord: open tires for MiDiv are a sure and certain thing? I'm getting ready to make a tire choice and it'd be nice to know. I can't find anything on MiDiv's site about the supps for SM here.

"Smash Miata" makes the "Intentional Touching" drivers look like gentlemen racers. If "rubbin is racing" I was street racing the other day. A tractor trailer truck's trailer drifted over at about 45mph as I was about 45 degrees stopped pointing right to make a right turn. Right rear tire of the trailer hit my left front bumper cover corner and put a 6in. "swirly" on it without denting the bumper cover at all. The car just kind of vibrated and rocked a touch. Seeing a truck trailer rushing by the windshield at 45 mph is sphincter pucker.
