Default Upgrading Integra Stereo with High Quality components. Opinions? help?

I used to have a stock face with some subs in the rear.
The setup was: 1997 Integra GSR
JL 500/1 Class D amp
(2) 12w3v2 subs, in 2 seperate enclousers
OEM interiors
OEM Head Unit
Optima Red Top
1 Farad Cap.

I got sick of the Bass, and more importantly, I needed $$. It did hit pretty hard thou. .

I sold most of that, and I only have one single 12" w3v2 left.

Recently my stereo (very shitty sounding stereo) got to me. I wanted to upgrade it. I started off buying a face.
Right now I have:

Eclipse CD 8053 HU
1 12" JL audio w3v2 in a sealed box

I am going for more sound quality this time, and would like a little kick in the rear (hence the JL sub). I don't know which interiors to get. I love JL's stuff, and their warranty, so I figured I'd stick with them.
I was planning on buying a JL class ab 300/4 amp, and their 6.5" xr 650 csi interiors. Do you guys think I'll be happy with those, or should I go for something different? Better?

Orr. .Do you guys think I should go with better fronts (I don't know whats out there) and less powerful rear speakers? (Bevause the sub is in the trunk)Ohh yea, I was probally gonna go ahead and buy another 500/1 class D amp.

So the entire system would look like this:

Eclipse CD 8053 HU
JL xr650 csi Interiors
JL 300/4 class ab amp
JL 500/1 Class D amp
JL 12w3v2 in a sealed box
Optima Red top battery

So, to sum things up, Should I stick with these interiors, if not, which ones? And what wires should I use?

I'll be breif - skip the rears - one amp can power it all - what's your budget?

Whatever it takes, on the setup listed about it was about 1500 not including the face
What kinda of amp will power all that?

Well, it kinda depends on the voice coil config on the 12"

It would be my preference to run just a set of component speakers in the front - this way you can focus on getting a great set there, rather then spending additional money on rears.

I'd look at getting a 4 channel amp like a Tru T-4.65 or a T-4.100 v2 (www.trutechnology.com)

That would absolutely rock - so long as you have the appropriate sub. As for the right speakers - you gotta use your ears on that one. With the wires, it depends on what amp(s) you get.

Nice selection on the headunit btw - big fan of the 8053.

Skip the rears but stick with that 4 channel amp.

I am not to fond of JL but the sub will work fine.

Get yourself some comps from adire audio or image dynamics. CDT also makes some killer sets. They will run around $350 but be the best for the price.

Now you can power the front "better" comps off the first two channels and the rear two we can bridge to power the sub.

After everything is installed you will see there is no need for rear speakers.

I decided to go with some Alpine component speakers.

The Alpine Spx-177r for the front, and Alpine Spr-176a for the rear.
