Whatever works, I've heard of a guy taking 16 deer in one night on a... .22 long. 
The state hired him for a night shoot because of overpopulation. Popped em in the head each time.
To keep it on topic, the damage doesn't sound too bad, that door will suck though. Did you hit the deer or did the deer hit you?

man I have to drive accross MN 5 hrs every now and then on way to and from home from college. ive had some scare with deers. i feel sorry for you. I cant imagine the out come of hitting a deer in a crx going 80...i dont know how fast u were goign but ouch...hope it doesnt cost u too much!!!

HAHA. I feel you dood, I hit one 4 nights ago. It was knock on the side and fell over. I took out my gun and shot that bitch on the forehead. Loaded it up. took it home. Cut that **** open. took whatever that wasnt' eatable out. and call up some homies and cook that **** . . . It was very damn goOd.

It could have been a mule deer.. Went skiing late one winter in steamboat, one day drove down to vail.. around rabbit ears pass a car blinks its lights at me.. i think cop so i slow down, come around bend at a mule deer is standing on the side of the road... a whole lot bigger than a whitetail.. almost the size of a horse..
be glad it didnt try to get into the car with you via the windshield. Somtimes you see this. Thing manages to come in through the windshield somehow. Them antlars are a pain when they pin you to the seat...
be glad it wasn't a moose... similar to a muledeer but bigger. If your CRX gets into a tussle with a moose.. moose always wins...
be glad you weren't on a bike....

about poppin em with a 22. At one time, lots of spotligters would use 22s because its more than enough for a close headshot and doesn't make a lot of noise so if you're hunting illegally at night and/or off season, a 22 gets it done and doesn't alert the neighbors..
but this is what you use to wak a moose...
or osama...

Yeah, apparently it USED to have antlers. Now the floor mat has them. I bet that would have hurt if his spine wasn't broken.
I wish I had the pictures the honda rep showed us on his laptop, that damn deer literally tore the whole roof off the car.
