Default IACV itb problem.

Does anyone have any pics or write ups on what ppl do to get vacuum from the IACV with home made ITB setups? Im throwing code 14 which is IACV problems. So what is the best way to fix this problem?

Well if your worried about the code , just plug in an IAC and tiewrap it to the firewall. If you still want to run the Iac just take a piece of 1/.4 in aluminum and drill anf tap it so you can bolt it down to it, then drill and tap it to accept some 1/8 npt vacuum nipples over the 2 actual holes that feed the iac vacuum. Run the manifold vac side to you vacuum can and run the other to a small breather filter.

A little thread revival here.

T-Bone: Is it even feasably possible to daily drive a car without an IACV and by setting the idle with the throttle plates? (of course running a honda ECU).

you should hook it up if you live in an area where there's cold winter, if not you'll have to sit in the car to keep the engine from stalling during warm up. or else you'll have to set your idle really high.

Actually I am inquiring for a car that can run like a daily driver. I will not be driving the car past november, but it does still get a "little" cold. However I believe it will be best to run the IACV in the long run.
