Differnece between aftermarket fenders and OEM
I need a new fender and noticed afetrmarket fenders cost like 50% less than OEM, is there really that big of a difference?
Aftermarket parts don't take any longer to prep than a a new oe part. the main difference is the ease of installation. A/M parts don't always line up so holes may need to be enlarged or re-drilled. Once installed it's difficult to tell the difference between oem and aftermarket (assuming you've gotten a good fit)
I had an aftermarket fender on my old accord and it fit just fine. Couldn't even tell the difference. Only thing was that where the corner went it was just slightly off at the very end of the fender, but hardly even detectable. Can't go wrong with OEM though.
