Dont take his advice just yet. let some other members chime in.
I know quite a few have done this, but im unsure if you need a thicker head gasket...

hahaha no it will not work quite right because the b18 is a longer block so you would probably have to cut the rod or do something but it wont just bolt up and run u have to customize some stuff and thats all i know haha
hey whats up? daa90crx is right the b18 block is longer. my ls crx just beat a b16 hatch with a fully built ITR head reving to about 8800. in other words if you havent bought the parts yet then dont just turbo the bitch.

Oh really, I love miss information special when its crucial information like that, so your also saying b16 pistons will fit in a b20 ? You can use the pistons but you can't use the rods, you have to use the b16 rods and shave 1mm off each side. And since your using the b16 rods, use the b16 crank.

use the pistons, valves, retainers and springs... but you shoulda gone CTR with it all and clayed the motor when you built it to get the tolerences and reliability back
ok.. well i was talking to some shops here in Kansas City and they all said that it would work.. it makes the b16 a stroker or something to that effect.. and the guy im buying them from has pics of the whole setup in the b16a2 block... but has ne one ever done this or heard of nebody doing it?
It will not work, the rods are to long, you can use ctr rods if your that adament about it, but really why waiste your money on it when you can buy better pistons and rods that will make more power and they will fit? Why try to rig it to fit?

Agreed.
They wont work! The b18c deck is higher, You need custom length rods to use the b18c crank in your b16.

it must be, NA is so overrated, ive been na for 2 years and finally switched to the darkside, i cant believe how much time and money i wasted on "na"
so im a bit biased, but dont waste your money on itr crap , if your dead set on na and want rods and pistons, get some eagle rods and some endyne/wiseco pistons and call it done!
