Default jdm or not jdm

how (if possible) can you tell if your engine is jdm or not?

i know on the type r's that a usdm valve cover has a big DOHC and a little vtec on the top and on the bottom it has honda motor co. on a jdm valve cover the top has a big Vtec and a small dohc and an H and honda on the bottom

i have a jdm motor and the dohc is in small letters, the vtec is in big letters.

the block stamp is different also on the jdm motors.

usdm motor will have b18b1,b18c1,b18c5,d15b7

jdm motors will have b18b,b18c3 or 6 i think,b18c, and d15b for the jdm sohc vtec.

i am not looking for a motor, i just have a motor in my car that has absolutely NO english or other languages whatsoever

if a motor is jdm it wont have a number after the block code

jdm - b16a b18c
us - b16a2 b18c5...etc

You can find the engine code on your block ,below your header to the left, next to the tranny...
