Default Can you identify this engine?

Recently bought a 92 Civic DX that had a 30k mile engine from Japan swapped in. The code on the engine block is D15B, with no number following the B. Some others on another forum said it was just a straight D15B then, but it doesn't look like one:

Anyone know what this engine is exactly?

JDM engine codes are like that. They don't have any letters or numbers after the code.

like JDM B18C is USDM B18C5, which is ITR's

thats not the jdm d15 vtec motor, or the jdm d15 vtec-e. its just the jdm d15b. same as the usdm d15b7 basically, a DX replacement motor that was built and sold in japan. hella clean though.
