Is there any v-tec motors in a crx, if so (after i get right ecu) can i swap the head for y8 or something newer with v-tec?

 

in japan, the crx sir came with a b16a1, but in north america, they didnt come with vtec. you can swap the sohc vtec head from 92-95 civics(d16z6) or 96-00(d16y8 ). both heads will increase the c/r, the y8 will a little more. it's called a mini-me swap, essentially all d-series sohc heads can be interchanged with different blocks. if you want info, here you go.
