Well least if someone bought it they would just have to peal off those gross decals and change those hideous taillights back to stock. but it leaves me to wonder what damage has been done to the interior. looks like someone cought a case of fast n furious fever

I'd buy it, if I could convince the seller how undesirable his modifications had made the car, and get him to lower the price accordingly.
Are those stripes painted on, or are they decals?
EDIT - the stripes are painted on.
I could easily deal with the brushed aluminum stuff on the inside...it's probably better-looking than the God-awful faux-CF accents in my car.
$21K is a pipe dream, obviously. But I wouldn't mind paying $13 or $14K for it.

All,
Ok, a few points for all of you out there that continue to trash my car or place our your judgments:
1. I will keep my car on auto trader for 5, 10, 15 years or more until I have the right buyer. Eventually, it will be a classic although in my heart is already is.
2. Find me a 1998 Type R that has 21,000 miles and is in mint condition and is selling for a lesser price and maybe I might come down on my price.
3. My stripes were painted on by a professional who does race circuit cars and all of my mods including the painting were done because I enjoyed them and still do.
If you don't like the car, then so be it, but does it add any value or positive light to this world by trashing someone else's property, other then your own property? There's a lot of things out there that I may not like but I try to hold my comments as it may be something of heart value to that person and why would I want to hurt anyone else for something that they have pride in?
Anyway, I signed up to post this on my car but if you truly want to have a conversation with me, e-mail me at heyitsad@yahoo.com.
Peace,
A.D.

YA ppl, stop trashing other people's property. But after all, it is a freedom of speech country.
I was just amazed by the appearence of the car.. I think it's an Art. Art that differentiate you and us by so far based on the circumstances which we brought up with in the same nature.

Besides the stripes, taillights, and painted interior accents, why would u put white guages when the tach goes to 8k and the type r revs to 8400 stock? I just don't see teh logic in this or any of your mods but to eah his own...

Wow, I seem to remember several mint 98 Type R's for sale in the classifieds here in the past year. One had like 7k original miles on it, and the other had like 3k miles on it. Both were going for under $20k if I remember correctly. Can anyone help me with a link?
