List the Advantages os Having an EG HYBRID.
I'm just trying to think of ALL the advantages of having an EG hybrid. Read my sig before you get smart with the technical blabber of chassy codes - you KNOW what I mean.
Here's my quick list: (Mostly from personal experience.)
1. EGs are CHEAP. I've got 5 friends who have paid < or = $2,000 for CLEAN ones.
2. EGs are LIGHT. ANY motor you put in that's bigger than stock WILL be faster than the average Honda.
3. EGs have CHEAP-*** insurance - even full coverage is MUCH cheaper than the average Integra partial coverage.
4. EGs accept nearly ALL Integra parts - sus, drivetrain, seats, etc.
5. EGs have a HUGE aftermarket following - brakes, sus, body parts, etc.
I'll also say that the EG is my favorite body style of any car - EVER. I'm a bitch I guess. I've always liked them since I saw the first one back in 1991 at the local dealer when my mom's 1990 Civic was being serviced. I sat in a spanking new Si and KNEW I had to have one one day.
I basically just LOVE the fact that I can spend so LITTLE money and RAPE so many cars out there that cost SO much more and STILL have a very nice car.
You see, guys in V8 rust-buckets will argue all day that THEIR car is faster and cheaper, but it's still a ******* PIECE of ****! I'm not saying all V8 cars are rust-buckets, but you know what I mean.
I just think that the styling of the EG is timeless. The interior is still modern looking, and the body is curvacious. My old EG had a fresh coat of paint and I had many people ask me if it was brand new even in 2001. That says a lot to me.

to add to your list;
they are easy to work on, reliable, not too flashy, simple yet very sohpisticated, and like you said, there is a $hitload of aftermarket products for it.
i still miss my 95 preludeVTEC tho, that car was just as sweet and in some aspects even sweeter. but i like all hondas though... but my favorite would have to be the NSX.

Another thing about hybrids in general - if you get a good, low mileage motor/tranny combo, then you basically have a new car. Of course you'll have to add the sus of your choice and whatnot to complete the newness, but you know aht I mean.
Why would the 04 Type-R only have 200hp? That is the same as the Type-S
215hp if they lower the compression like they have in the past......
Oh yeah, EK has the same atributes but a little heaver, Mine weighs in at 2275 full interior and ac.....

Trey - EK is dope too, you know that. The only thing about the EK is price. Still a little high when compared to going rate of $2,000 for a good CX EG.
Cheapest EK i've seen was $3,995 - good body and all - '96 Red Cx
My old Si weighed in at 2280
My new CX should be more like 2080
