Default Angel Eyes not working completely, whats wrong! NIGHT PICS!

Got around to installing my Angel eyes this after noon, was a bitch to get my bump off and then practically pry the oems out. Threw the Angle eyes in, 2 harness's clipped in and theres an extra power/ground for the angels Im assuming.

No big deal done in 30 min, all solderred.

Installed

Turn on the driving light (first click)

Arent both angle eyes supposed to be on?

Second click

Angel eye not visible, Im assuming it should be lit up on both sides on both driving and actual lights, I could see the inner angel eye slightly flickerring at the very bottom, hardly flickerring

High Beams
NO PIC!!! It dont work! I dunno if there just isnt highbeams on them or what but there was no dif bettween the lights on and the highbeams

Side markers

Threw on some side markers today as well

I think it would look a lot better if I just lost the corner lights all together, just went with the angle, I like them a lot more.

Hope someone can tell me what is up.

PS- Dont make any smear remarks about the car, its pretty quick and I like it the way it is

To be honest you should not have posted a picture with a body kit on it then, if you are worried about some one flaming your car. There are always some ******* that is going to tell you that they do not like your car

Back to topic: I like your car for one. And second check you grounds make sure that they are all properly grounded

Well I doubt its the grounds since they work on some, headlights dont work, inner angle eyes dont work...

Im pretty sure I just solderred the ground to existing ground

BTW- Dont care what is said about my car, just didnt want the thread to be all about that, I would like to get these to work

I have the same ones, but they're blacked out. All I can say is give it time. My halos did not work and after time, the resistors for the halo's broke in and now they work all the time. I still have some flicker though on the passenger side. I think your connections are fine, it's just a matter of time. That's the only way I can explain it. As far as your high beams, I noticed that when I thought my plugs for the highbeams were plugged in, they weren't. You have to make sure the clip from the Projectors goes OVER the bump on the plug. Otherwise, there is no connection and it can fall back out easily. I had posted about this before, and like I said, it just took time before they started working. Do yours fog up? Mine did, but now they don't anymore (weird). I figured I just had the curse of Y49 because nothing else can explain it. On a final note, I desoddered my connections because the angeleyes didn't work when it was soddered together. So I have them twisted and heat shrunk. Nice bodykit btw. There aren't too many fans of it, but I like it. (I have the Erebuni Shogun, full kit). I think you have the same corners I do. I'm not sure about their design, but oh well, I like them for the most part.

Bodykit + Projectors =

Too many "rustbucket warriors" out there.

Man after the guy nicely asked for no one to make dumb *** remarks this outstanding member of society chimes in just to be a dick! Cookie for sir

Any how I would recheck all of the connections. But from things I have read in the past there are quite a few things that go wrong with the angel eyes. But since your high beams aren't working either that would make me think it is installer error.

Also do you have any pics of the beam pattern? I am thinking of getting a set for my car because the stock headlights just totally scatters the beam of my H.I.D.'s and kinda makes them pointless to have.

The cuttoff is not that great for these projectors. It could be better with $800 projectors, but for the price, they will do. The angel eyes from Sonar come with H1 bulbs in them. I couldn't use my stock bulbs, which had me kinda worried. I guess if HID's are about the same size, you could probably fit them/get them to work in the angel eyes headlamps. The HID setup is all new stuff to me. The line is very blurred, it's not a clear cutoff line (if you know what I am talking about)

i bough the blacked out angel eye headlights too. had the same problems you did. first, mine only have one halo in each headlight (which is around the highbeams). as for my highbeams not working, it was because the connector that was on the headlight assembly wasn't reaching the connector on the plug. i checked it by taking a piece of copper wire and making a connection, they worked, so i will be swapping the new connector to my old ones off of my oem headlights. try the copper wire thing to see if they come on.

it sounds like its the new parts you have, IMO, but I don't know anything

projectors aren't bad, it's just ones that aren't great is my only gripe, but R & D for a oem quality light like that would raise the price

so what will it be? Pay for so so quality, or stay stock and know it will work right? If someone made NICE black housing projectors for the ef jdm front end I'd be up for getting them, but wouldn't want them to get moisture, or have issues like this.

okay, well if you were even smart at all you'd look at the headlights and realize that there is only one halo on em. that might explain why the other one isn't lighting up.

Also you can even see the angel eye on the drivers side flicker when the headlight is on in the pic, right at the bottom of the halo you can see a little light

hmmmmm........

Out come the post ***** wonders.
What a classic way to demonstrate you are the stereotypical haters. So sad.... like a pack of sheep.
What an admirable way to get yourself over 1000 posts without contributing anything whatsoever.

Back on topic.
What I noticed is that it seems like there just isn't enough juice to power all of the lights simultaniously. I used a $1 relay and hooked up my corners and angeld directly onto the battery.
The relay is basicaly a switch wich turns on or off if you put a bit of power on the relay itself.

You're trying to power a whole array of lights on a single wire. That just won't work.

When will you reach your desired post count so you can stop hating on people for wanting their car to look different than stock? What does it matter if they want more lights or fewer lights. Personally, I classify all haters as jealous. Everyone that makes a comment about how ricey my car is just wishes they had the time/money/job to work on their own car in such ways. Otherwise, they wouldn't say anything at all about it because they have already done that to their own car or don't even own a Honda where there is huge aftermarket support for dressing up your car. EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT. GO TAKE YOUR RUSTBUCKET AND PUT ANOTHER HOLE THROUGH THE FOOT WELL SO YOU CAN FEEL BETTER ABOUT NOT MAINTAINING YOUR CARS BODY AND LOSING THE EXTRA WEIGHT FOR "PERFORMANCE"
