Love cars,not much of a tuner. Got the V2 and RS*R Exmag.Love the looks and the sounds! Now what? I just had the exhaust put on yesterday and now it feels like a little hesitation when I hit the gas. I'm thinking I need more fuel by way of a tuner.Do I need the AEM ecu? My end goal is modest.I just want my car to be the best it can be in the stock version. Everytime I talk to a tuner they try and push a turbo on me. Any suggestions?

 

How does it idel? I will just throw out some ideas.

Exhaust system bolts

assuming by v2 you mean an aem cai, you only have an intake and exhaust which aren't big mods. Theres not really any reason to tune, you'll only squeeze a few few more hp. Did you reset your ecu after the mods? if not do so.
The intake and exhaust will hurt your low end torque, and the cai will hurt your throttle response.

Yeah, I really doubt you need more fuel. The Prelude runs awfully rich already.

you may be running lean?..check ur plugs..my car was doing that..i changed my plugs and wires and it quit...

 

yea just disconnect the battery for 30 sec or a minute
