will a d16a1 sohc head bolt up to a d15a3 block let me know

i have tried sohc is difrent from dohc and a d16a1 is dohc first gen integra head also it wil not work with a zc botom end unless it is a dohc zc and it would be simler to building a ls vtec if u wanted to do maciene work

It should work. From what ive heard its uses the old stlye block like the DOHC ZC.
Thats the main reason the DOHC zc Head wont fit on a SOHC D series. Completly different block.
I say go for it, like i said it should work. If you dont want to just try.
Go to the Autoparts store, and ask to see the head gaskets from both motors. If they are the same then that will answer all your questions.

If what i wrote above is true then No it wont work. Again compair the head gaskets.
