Default ZC Radiator Hoses

Just one quick question about the radiator hoses on this swap. I managed to find the part number that I needed for the lower hose but I can't seem to find the upper hose p/n or at least what car its from, I'm assuming it's from a 88-91 CRX Si but I want to know for sure before I buy it. Thanks.

I usually ask for 84 ACCORD upper units, then trim to fit.

Thanks for the input, I think I got everything I need. I have another question though, As far as after the install. I know its not a new engine but since it could have been sitting for a long period of time, is there any kind of break in time or anyhting of that nature that I should observe or anything I should do to the engine before actually starting it?

Change all the fluids and since there is no rebuilding going on just be nice and gentle to it......for the first 10 miles or so. Then after that, let it go like you normally would. Since nothing was changed internally, with fresh liquids you'll be fine.

its too late now but its sometimes good to change the water pump while the engine is outta ur car (maybe 1 in every 5 break over the sitting period but its a pain to replace while its in the bay)

I had to by a 95 civic ex downpipe becuae the ZC has a 4-2-1 header and the regular crx engine has a 4-1, just letting you know before hand. I found mine in a junkyard for 50bucks.

You can use CRX SI spark plugs and 89 Integra plug wires along with a 89 Integra dizzy(Which I had to replace becuase my zc dizzy was bad. Sux when you get it installed and you get no spark!)

All in all I love my ZC. Bolts right in and runs great! Of course I found out that my stock tranny wasen't stock and that it was out of a junkyard and is an HF tranny! But I bought an SI tranny so we'll see how much better the ZC runs with SI tranny.

Good Luck

Sorry, thought it was in the car... in that case change all the fluids too. and ive heard people say replace the seals and hoses but ignored them and my car ran fine.

Don't think it will work but you can give it a try. The list of ECU's that I know work -

PG6 - 88-89 Integra
PM6 - 88-91 Si/EX
PM7 - JDM DOHC ZC
PR2 - EDM DOHC ZC

I know which ones work I was just curious if anyone has tried it, its either the PR4 or the PR3. Which ever ECU is from the B18A motor. I was just curious because I know it connects directly to the stock wiring of the CRX Si.
