NEW SHOCKS INSTALLED QUESTION ??
i just installed my new shocks 4 of em 2 of em on the front are okay, but one of the rear is fukked up i dunno why. the left side is fine but the rear right side bolt of the shocks the one where u put knot on the trunk the middle one its kinda up high than the other one on the left for like 2 inches higher, the knot is all the way down to the end of the thread of shocks bolt.. i lift the car up to check if i missed any rubbers, bushings, and spacers but everything was fine wutever it has on the left side it has it too on the right side. but how come the shocks bolt is up high the the other one... but its all even the gap of the tire to fender is even. i put all brand spankin new tokico blues with GC coilover.. when i hit bump too it sounds knockin noise and squeeking noise i dont think this is normal.. Please help me guys, any help will be appreciate.... this happened to my friend too when he change his....
Thanks in advance !

can you retype that a little more clearly, im not sure what your trying to ask.
you said that your fender gap is the same between both tires, but u hear a squeaking noise.
is that the only problem? squeaking noise? what is the condition of your bushings? was the rubber dust boots installed properly so its not snagged under the spring? what springs did you install? are they sitting on the perch correctly?
if they are low spring rate they will move around when you jack the car up.
btw what is a knot?

when you installed the shocks did you check to make sure they were both the same height? did you retract the shock to make sure it came out smooth?
i just re-read and saw you have coil overs. your coil overs are probably not adjusted the right way all the way around, and to have an even height all around some sides are probably compensating giving you a the wrong height.
what i would do is remove the rear coil overs and make sure they are adjusted to the same height. and the same with the front.
if they were springs this wouldnt be an issue. but now that i seen you wrote coilovers that would be the first thing to do.

Your problem is that you are missing the #15 tapered washer, called the bumpstop plate I believe. If it's not on there, the shock piston is free to poke up through the upper shock mount. So you're basically riding around with no shock absorber on that corner, since it's pretty much not doing anything.
