Default "Clunk" when i make a right turn

hey guys,

whenever i make a right turn, i hear a loud "clunk" from under the car. it only makes this sound when i make a right turn. also, if i make a hard right turn, the steering wheel becomes unaligned as well as the "clunk." what could the problem be? i have stock suspension. i'm going to have the dealer check it out, but I just want an idea so that I can tell them exactly what it is, instead of trusting them to find it. it basically makes the sound whenever the steering wheel goes to the right, whether over a speed bump or a curb and etc. could it be the axles? would the dealer replace that for me under warranty? thanks for ur help

Probably your CV axles..If the outer joint is over stressed, it will wear out and make that noise...I have already gone through 3 Auto-zone re-manufactured axles in my H22 Accord, and they all have done the same thing, started clunking...

if thats the case, do you think its the axles or the steering column? or both?

Crawl up under your car and check all the suspension parts and make sure all joints and bolts are tightened down tight.

If everything is nice and tight, it's more than likely your CV joints. Check the boots to see if you have some tears or rips on them.
