Default Can I use OBD0 distributor with OBD1 ECU?

I'm thinking of getting the OBD0 to OBD1 wiring harness and was wondering if I could do that. Also is the harness just plug and play or do I need to hard wire and add more sensors?

If Not Why Not?

you cannot use OBD0 Dist with OBD1 ECU. I'm too tired to type whynot, but I can say that they both have to be either OBD1 or OBD0.

shor asnser:
NO

long asnser:
the obd 0 has 16 pulses per revolution and the OBD1 has 24. that equils that if u put it on the wcu and tack will trad higher RPMS than actual and attempt to lower RPMS causing stalling.

4 wire o2 sensor is the only sensor that needs to be added. Other than that i had to move the vtec solenoid and pressure switches. Plug and play for the most part. I landed 6 wires whileeverything else plugged in.

I used blown90hatch's harness. It made the job go smooth. I added 4 wires for the o2 sensor, installed the p28 ecu and conversion harness, installed a gsr dizzy, and 4 wire o2 from acura vigor.

Nothing should be hardwired. I added an obd1 o2 sensor harness plug.

Ill be using uberdata with the o2 heater disabled so I can just leave my one wire, the vtec pressure and activation i just need to get the plugs to splice into

so are you guys ditching obd-0 to go with obd-1 because of uberdata/hondata?? i'm thinking of doing the same thing just because of standalone options...

yes sir, Because if I use a vafc to tune my 450 injectors and turbo as well as activate my vtec it will advance my timing, however vtec on a conversion and p28 works perfect and uberdata will cost significantly less than vafc as well as give waaaay more tuning options, and launch control, as well as boost retard
