Alternator keeps frying ? ? ? ?
I have a 2000 HONDA CIVIC with 21k miles.
I have a Jackson Racing Supercharger that was installed and the individual that installed it said that the wiring under the hood in the area of the supercharger had to be rewired.
There is a part on my alternator made of plastic that is melting causing the connection to the alternator and the wire to be lost. The alternator has been replaced twice now with the same part going bad. Does anyone have any ideas why this occurs.
HONDA hasn't voided my warranty but will not warranty this repair.

Go back to the place that wired your car and tell them your alternator is going bad all the time now. If you didn't take it to a half-*** shop they should fix the problem an/or reimburse you for the alternators you bought. Now please get off this board man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the help, those of you that offered positive bits of advise. But you all that are telling me to post my questions in another area could have been a lot nicer about it.
