What exactly do you mean by painting the headlights? Are you talking about the inner housing?

if your talking about painting the inner housing. then yes it can be done and has been done many times. the only down side is that it will cause you to loose some visibility at night.

but what you have to do is remove the outer glass, by heating it or whatever, then cover the projectors and prep the inner housing so that th paint or whatever will stick and then paint away. heat and put back together.

If you are planning on doing this I would suggest high heat paint. Lights get hot. I wouldn't paint the glass or any reflective surfaces.

i think painting the inner part will make you loose the brighter vision? U wont see that better with it, just spend money and get some proj.

newer tegs already have projectors... so with that being said the projector of the 2 you can paint the surrounds no problem justnot the projector itself because the design of projectors is just that... project light rather than relect light like your other light does... i would really think twice maybe 3 times before painting a reflecting light...
