Pros of A2:
- $3000 (insert the price you found here)
- 6-spd tranny
- reliability
- no turbo lag

Cons of A2:
- only 200whp after bolt-on's
- takes cams, IM, TB, k20a flash just to hit 220whp
- no clear upgrade path

Pros of A3 + turbo:
- 270-300whp without touching internals
- 5-spd tranny (positive because less grinds than the 6, and longer gears = slightly better traction than the 6)
- staged upgrades available
- f/i has much more potential than n/a

Cons of A3 + turbo
- reliability
- $4000 (depending on what stage, which kit, etc.)
- will need to upgrade clutch

cybernation.
greddy.
revhard.
sfp.

Depends if you want to keep emissions or not -- cybernation is the only one, i believe, that will eliminate your cat.

I agree with everything but this. The EP3 gears are REALLY short in 1st and 2nd. The base RSX gears are taller and better for boost IMO.

Turbo A3 stage one will typically get you 250+ whp depending on what kit you get. That not even touching the internals, turbo cat, etc.

stock a2 will give you a punch compared to the vtec in an a3 but if you drive a turbo and then get in a2 you'll be dissapointed.

Turbos are just as reliable as stock car as long and it is installed right. Actually, an N/A a2 with that same amount of power will cause more problems than a properly tuned turbo a3.

i think it's all what you want. If you like na and the higher revs get the k20a2 but if you just love boost i'd try to get a k24 from a crv for about 1000 and then turbo that. You'll have much more low end tq
