rusted gsr cams!!!!
So, some how, some way my stock gsr cams have been sitting outside for ...oh.. about the last 2-3 months..
being that it is rain season and all (even though its only rained a couple times in so cal) my mom brings them to me rusted......
are they ruined? can i sand then down? can i take them somewhere, and if i can would it even be worth it?
just questions because i have never personally heard of rusted cams... lol

saving them to sell? or to put back in your car? i doubt someone would want to buy rusted cams, its probably not worth it to resurface them to shiny...i would rather buy used mint ones...

Yea, I was wondering the same thing... and I was wondering why his mom brought his cams to him, must be nice having parents that take care of your car parts for you...

ahhh hush.. I physically walked out and got the cams, my mom just found them.. dont feel the need to get specific, but obviously i must...
and my dad did it because i didnt know what to do, obviously being the reason why i posted on this forum... i was working on my car at the time he got home so he took the action and just sprayed them like no biggie....
better?

What's wrong with having your parents help? I use my moms garage everytime I need to do an install on my car because it's huge, and she helps with every install. I don't see why you think it's a problem for his parents to be helping him out.
I would not take our jokes too seriously man, I am still in college and my parents let me use their garage and tools when I want to, actually my dad even offered to help me with a transmission install, I had to hit myself to make sure I was still in sync with reality after he did too.
