Tips on Axle Seal Replacement?
I just got done replacing the passenger side axle and it is leaking tranny fluid. Seems to be coming from the axle seal even though when I inspected it, it looked totally fine.
Regardless, is there a way I can remove the axle from the tranny WITHOUT removing the axle from the hub?
For example, on Integras, I can just drop the LCA (lower control arm) and pull the axle out of the tranny since the hub has free play now. Is this possible on the crx?
Also, what do you guys recommend using to remove the axle seal and putting it back in? Use pliers to pull out the old and use a 32mm socket to press back the new?

i used a regular pry bar and a cloth to pop mine out, and lube up the seal with some grease before you put it in and push it as far as you can by hand then tap it in gently with a rubber mallet the rest of the way tell it is flush with the tranny case, dont push it in any farther then that or you risk damaging the seal

Yes, of course.
Unlock the steering wheel
Remove the 2 bolts from the Radius Rod
Remove the Sway Bar Bushing(s)
Remove the Lower Control Arm to body Pivot Bolt
Turn the steering all the way (pushing the tie rod away from the car)
Pop out the inner joint!
