Default 98 GSR w/ CF hatch

Like subj. says now that i have the vis hatch on my car w/ out wiper and the 3rd brake light it seems that my brake lights are always on whenever my parking, or just my headlight are on. So whenever I actually touch the brake pedal the brake lights do become a little brighter....either way its still scary! (just dont want to be in another semi accident ) ill post pics of the hatch a little later

You obviously wired something up wrong and should get that fixed. It would be pretty scary driving with you brake lights on all the time.

thanks for the help

It was a body shop install, so when then removed the 3rd tailight i guess that just kills the circuit...

i always wondering whats a cf trunk for? cf suppose to save weight, but integra front is already heavier than the rear.. so with the CF trunk, how is the handleing compare to before? any noticeable difference?

You won't really notice a difference unless you went with a Lexan rear window as that is where most of the weight of the rear hatch is.

How difficult was it to transfer the rear glass to the cf hatch?

Blow 500 bux for a hatch just to have an extra unpainted body panel.

Made to save weight... yet everyone buys it to show off.

CF hatch + stock glass =

CF hatch + Lexan rear windshield = , how it meant to be.

FYI: w/ a lexan rear windshield your total weight savings would be about 100lbs.

whats the point to save 100lbs and leave the front as stock weight?
is it all about balance?

Remove COMPLTE a/c & p/s and add a cf hood...

So you would rather not save 100 lbs? b/c of "balance", thats just an excuse.

Dead weight.. is dead weight, front or rear.

[/b]</TD></TR></TABLE> So what, its his car, let him be. Youre better off using that argument for the 10000000000s of people out here w/ unpainted CF hoods. Personally I think it looks good. PS- not everybody wants to roll around in a completely strippped car w/ no ac/ps, etc. Everyone has different goals and preferences, and its completely cool by me.

removing the third brake light, is just like a bulb being blown. when a brake light bulb blows, do the brake lights stay on all the time? NO! the body shop, either wired something wrong or something of that matter, i would def. take it back to the body shop and ask them to fix it since you did already pay to have the hatch put on.
