Default Drain plug for manual transmission.

If I remember correctly, the drain plug is a square allen type head. Does anyone know what size it is? I wanted to buy that particular socket without buying a whole set. Thanks.

Nice! So a 3/8 will fit right in there? That's good! Thanks for the reply.

no need for special tool. just use 3/8" ratchet
you will need either a 14mm or 17mm (cannot remember) wrench for the plug up top to fill the tranny + a bendable funnel.

no need for the bendable funnel. remove the speed sensor from the top back of the tranny (1 10mm bolt) and pour your fluid in that hole instead. fill til the fluid just comes out the normal fill hole. its easier this way.

Wow. Never would have thought of something like that.

Lip, you got a pic of where this is at or a location description?

It's on the back top side of the transmission. Right next to the rear transmission mount bracket. There is a plug with 3 wires attached to it.
