Default GSR pulley on Type R

I needed a crank pulley but no dealer in WA or OR had one in stock for a Type R. So I just bought a GSR pulley and installed it. The GSR pulley is bigger than the Type R so I had to buy a longer belt. What difference does it make installing a larger crank pulley?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that a bigger pulley makes your engine work more to drive the altenator, power steering, and ac if you got it. More work to the pulley=less work (power) to the wheels. I doubt you will notice it tho...

That is indeed correct. Bigger crank pulley = faster accessory rotation = more HP lost to parasitic drag.

That's the whole principle behing "underdrive" pulleys...

I doubt it could be more than 2 whp.
