i think my tps sensor is going on .i just changed my iacv valve and thats not the problem,i figure that i can try to change my tps sensor and see if it will work.my idle flucuates like mad when im at any stop light or sign.anyways what tps sensor do i use.i think its from a 92 integra,anyways this only happends when my stereo is on or an electrical device,any suggestions?

 

Is the engine flucuating or just the needle?

 

its the motor,its dies down to about 500 rpm and wants to die then surges up and then back down again.only when im in neutrul.and it goes away when the stereo is off.i dont get it,no buddy does down at the shop.plus my stereo is hooked up directly to the battery.i made my own harness and every thing is new."the previous owner butcherd the stock harness"its really bumming me out.

 

try adjusting the tps.

 

how do i do that? u dont mean the idle controll screw do u?

my h22a lude does the same thing, especially in cold weather, when shifting to neutral or at a stoplight. someitmes releasing the clutch stops it, sometimes not. Most annoying **** ever. Fluctuations are between 800 and 1200.

QUESTION: Does the tps need simple adjustment or replacement? If replacement is needed, any idea on the cost of a new sensor?
