Re: (UGLYEK)
Pull some codes off it. It might be your map senor. Is it a wall mount or a throttle mounted? I had the same problum. I changed my map sensor and I wired the idle wrong. See if you mixed up the thermostat plug with the other.

Re: (jonezen1)
see thats what we thought cuz the map sensor and the thermostat or whatever are the same plugs...but i think we have it right cuz the map sensor is the longer of the two connectors....but could it be that i only have one o2 sensor hooked up.....cuz i dont have a converter or exhaust on it yet...so could the o2 sensor be doing that?

Re: (MatterMatt)
cuz isnt the only thing that should mess up the idle is the iacv?... Cuz the stock wire harness has 3 wires to the iacv connector, but the b16 iacv plug only has 2 pins...So whats up with that?

Re: (UGLYEK)
Make sure you have the IACV wired correctly for the 3 pin to 2 connection. I could swear there is a thread somewhere on that, maybe in the FAQs? If you don't have it wired right it would definitely cause you some problems. Once you have the wiring right, pull of the IACV and give it a good cleaning with some brake cleaner (never hurts). No, the IACV is not the only thing that would affect the idle(although a dirty, plugged, or broken one would). It could be a bad FPR, cam timing, vacuum leak, etc.

Re: (UGLYEK)
try getting A NEW HARNESS iether from an ex v tec civic or just an si. that would make things a whole lot easyer. with the ex v tec harness you just have to lenthen some wires and thats it. oh and wire the knock sensor.
