Default SEARCHED: 90-91 HB Seat Install in 88-89 HB

Okay well its time to sell my 88 STD, When i bought it, it had no front seats. So i have 90-91 Si seats to put in it. The hatch didnt come w/ rails either. I recently came up on some. So now im trying to swap the 88-89 seat rails onto the 90-91 Si seats. I have heard that u just swap the rails over and thats it, but no luck. Only one side of the rail bolts onto the seats, The side that just moves up and down. It seems like the side w/ the handle on it (the one U pull up to move back and forth) has no way to bolt onto the 90-91. They are diff. mounting holes. I can take pics if it will help, so lmk if i should snap some.

Does anyone have any info. on how i can pull this off??? I have heard and seen it done. thanks in advance

you need to get 88STD seat pans and swap the whole bottom

well you can modify it with metal if you cut and drill, but no you need to swap the pans

it's not difficult to do, just unbolt top half, and pop the pins holding the fabric on

im pretty sure there are plenty of seat pans out there in the junk yard. I had to switch out some 89 si seat pans with my 91 seats to make them fit. Good luck
