Default Goodridge brake lines and bolts question.

I just bought a set of Goodridge brake lines and respective hardware, but it didn't come with instructions. I started the installation only to find out that I could not torque the bolts that came with the set to the settings specified on the manual (1st bolt broke in half). I ended up using the same bolts that were there before. Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Yep, the goodridge bolts are weak and break when overtorqued.

You're fine using the stock ones, several people including myself did.

Yep, I had one break on mine as well -- just use your original bolt. I am believed that they are just plastic banjo bolts.

Echo7847,
Thanks for the reply. I just wanted to make sure that I was going to be OK by using the old bolts. I didn't think that I was going to have any problems. Better safe than sorry!

Mario BA4,
As soon as the 1st one broke I didn't even think about using the rest of them. One thing I did change was the washers. They are pretty weak. Thanks for the reply!

Yea no problem -- ironically, only the last bolt I put on broke... since the others were fine, I just left them.
